“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
-Helen Keller
This well-known quote says it all and was the theme relayed to the young adults and families attending this Transition Institute as they learned that together with the members of their families and community resources, they can achieve their goals. Through this Institute, they met an eagerly supportive community, and learned first-hand how a community pulls together within a state and across state lines to ensure this Transition Institute was an effective educational activity. On behalf of all of the young adults, families and involved state deaf-blind projects, I thank all of the Sponsors and Volunteers for your support which contributed to the success of this year’s Institute. We could not have done this event without your enthusiastically generous collaboration!
